Does the Constitution allow the government to treat one religion better than another??

Hello:

No, it doesn't, of course..

B
ut, if you LISTEN to Trumps WORDS, you'll see that he intends to DO just that.  And, that's WHY his ban is unconstitutional..

The following is from an interview Trump gave to the Christian Broadcasting Network:

"
If you were a Muslim you could come in, but if you were a Christian, it was almost impossible and the reason that was so unfair, everybody was persecuted in all fairness, but they were chopping off the heads of everybody but more so the Christians. And I thought it was very, very unfair. So we are going to help them."

W
hen asked by Brody if he saw helping persecuted Christians abroad as a “priority,” Trump promptly replied, “yes."

There is already a precedent for showing a preference of a particular religious immigrant based on persecution in the home country.
The Jewish people from Russia were given refugee status specifically because of their religion. Because there was no question they were in danger because of their religion.
There is no dispute that Christians and Jews in these 7 countries are in fatal danger because of their religion.
    This is the same thing.
