Can it really be 60 years ago since Elvis burst onto the scene for the first time? This song was his breakthrough hit, it was his first US number one and his first chart entry in the UK (where it peaked in second place).

    One of the all time great rock hits. BTW, Elvis' original guitar player Scottie Moore died this week.
