Here is a British song from a British movie that did better in the US than it did in the UK.
I always liked the song and the movie.
I was only 5 in 1967 and I didn't see the movie until years later (I now have it on DVD). I don't really remember the song when it was new either, although I do remember Lulu in those days. She represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1969 with the rather cheesy "Boom-Bang-A-Bang" which I do remember very well. In fact, that song was so cheesy that she didn't get another hit after it until 1974. Lol:)
