Is there any merit to this video?

It's a video on the best way to sleep.

It may have some merit; I never discount the beliefs of other cultures.  However,  as I currently have no sleep issues, trying to incorporate all these practices would probably just create some stress that might not be helpful.

Here's another one of your answers in which I can relate to every  sentence you shared.  :)

    (I didn't watch the video.)

I fall asleep on my right side, but at some point during the night, I turn over to sleep on my left side.  If I used all those pillows, they would dislodge when I turn over and then I would wake up and have to rearrange them for the other side.  That would interrupt my sleep.  As for which direction I face when I sleep, I face the north and have done so for the 45 years I've lived in this apartment.  The configuration of the windows in my bedroom would not allow for me to move my bed so that I faced east. My bed faces north as well.  Last night I slept across the bed and faced east, now all the iron will be pulled to my face instead of my head, lol, hope it makes me look younger.

Hard to tell after just one night, I'll keep you posted though.

2nd night sleeping cross ways on my bed....yikes, horrible night, awful sleep, neck pain, back pain, not worth re-routing the invasive iron from my lil ole brain to my face. Miss the groove in my bed, going back to my old ways until I can move my bed.

I had a feeling you were going to have that happen.

I am forced to sleep on my right side due to a bulging disk, this position put me facing the headboard.  Wish I had a video of me waking up in the middle of the night not expecting it to be there.  Getting out of bed was funny as heck. :  )

I admit I didn't watch the video but the answers and thread so far are interesting to me.

I think I'd do well to first choose to simply clean/declutter my entire home first ( a goal I've had for several years that I've yet achieved).

I fall asleep fast and sleep well now. (But maybe your video could make it better.)

I think there's some merit to the side-sleeping position, at least. That's pretty much how I do it, albeit with only one (very lovely) pillow and a bit of creative sheet manoeuvring.

I think if I slept with all those pillows, they'd find me suffocated the next morning.

Hahaha, not the worst way to go! Sure solves any breathing issues.
