    Well, of course.  People say that to get out of most jurys.  (not that it always works)

    I remember being called for jury duty on an attempted murder case.  One of the prospective jurors being questioned said, "Let's face it, if the defendant had been home reading the Bible, none of us would be here."  Needless to say, she was excused. :)

    One of the jurors they accepted is a teacher who said she had no idea that there were three other cases against him.  This is the kind of juror the prosecution would love to have.
