Where in the Bible canI find such statements as: "Trinity", "second person thereof", and/or "third person of the trinity"? Here?: (1 Corinthians 11:3) But I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn, the head of a woman is the man; in turn, the head of the Christ is God.

Seems what Paul wants e to know contradicts what you want me to know, huh?

  • The Devil himself can quote scripture, such is his familiarity with it. No,quoting scripture doesn't make one a better Christian, nor does it make one a theologian. It might indicate an ability to memorize, but such can be done without an effort to understand, as well as live by scriptural admonition, or the teachings of Jesus. Some have tried to lift scripture out of context and remold it to suit their own purposes. Some have even started movements that have deceived many. Those who desire to know the word of God will become familiar with it as it becomes heart knowledge. Scripture is more than intellectual understanding, it is the catalyst for developing a mature Christian who wants a relationship with God.

    Nice statement.

It does make sense that the Devil himself can quote scriptures----after all, it tells his story also.

Probably not, if only because many atheists claim to be more familiar with the bible than a Christian is, and frequently quote it to show that it is full of contradictions...

Nope, not at all since anyone can memorize any book out here  but that doesn't make them street smart. One must practice what one reads in the Bible everyday and live their lifes by Gods word to be a good Christian.  Even going to Church every Sunday doesn't make a good Christian when one leaves Church and forgets what they learn the second they leave the parking lot.  So in other words, its not what you do by memorizing something but what you do with it and our world needs as many good Christians as it can get right now
