The conclusion is that she did report landing under fire and that is bad. She did NOT however mistake a little girl with flowers for a sniper (I never heard of a sniper being hugged by the people he was trying to shoot)
Thank you for explaining :) I often don't get some of the language differences.. and they often don't get mine.. I sorta got that it had to be a joke though lol I think we understand Aussies better :)
No he served as Senator from January 3, 2005 – November 16, 2008. That is almost 4 years. And for 2 of those 4 he was campaigning for President. Either way less than a full Senate term.

I think people should give Trump a chance, it's too soon to tell if he's going to be a good President or the worst in history but he does deserve the chance to prove himself. I think he's an uncouth man and I would not have voted for him but he does deserve some time in office before people judge him.
You are clearly a lovely reasonable, optimistic person.. but the thing is... he's already had a chance and so far has made an utter pigs ear of it and offended half the rest of the world...including most of his own countrymen
I don't think three weeks is giving him a chance. We all deserve a chance when thrust into a new situation/job and I don't think he has offended most of his own countrymen I believe the latest popularity poll shows him slightly ahead.
It's very easy to dislike this man, he's done and said some things which I found astounding, offensive and very sexist, I was absolutely floored when he won the election I didn't think he had a hope in hell of winning.
