What new skill would you like to have?

Is there something you'd love to be able to do if only you had the ability? Play an instrument, paint a picture, write a best seller, anything really?

  • You'll get there, Pearl. As your confidence builds the jobs will be easier to find.

  • I'd have thought you had plenty of self-confidence. Why rational?

I don't have much self-confidence in myself much of the time, though others often say the same thing you have, Didge- - that they think I come across with self-confidence.
"Rational" -- I meant that as in avoiding going overboard with it all and becoming arrogant. I'd like a realistic sense of confidence that is respectful to others and me.
    I hope that helped explain.
    :)
Thanks for replying to my answer, Didge.

  • I think you're a winner, Welby. That's how you come across in your posts. Maybe it'll just take time for that to come through. Good luck.

I'd like to know more about doing my own home improvements.  That's pretty boring, right?

  • Why would it be boring? It's a skill I'd love to have too but I'm a klutz.

  • I've been learning more every week about coding and graphics for PC games and getting pretty darn good at it. Plus my historical knowledge gets called upon all the time. After all the years in the Automotive business?  I love designing graphics for games.

I'd love to be an excellent carpenter, sculpture, painter. Maybe even a killing machine. This post was edited by Zack at February 12, 2017 12:54 PM MST
