Me: YOU PASSED!

Congratulations, you are a grammar master! You have a superb understanding of even the trickiest grammar rules. Not only do you know the difference between affect and effect, but you also never confuse your tenses. You must be an English scholar because only 4% of Americans can get a perfect score on this test.

What? This quiz must be rigged. No way can I make 25 out of 25.

It said I passed, but I didn't get the rest of the graphics that you got.

Oh. I'll share mine with you. I'm sure you deserve it more than me. I was lucky if this is not rigged. Lol.

LOL ... thank you.  Toward the end, I guess my laptop wasn't able to handle all the graphics and it kept freezing, but it did say I passed. :)

You're the true winner. Guessed three of replies as i did not know what they asked for. Took what I felt it might be. Grammar own language is hard enough, being asked strange names in English about some sentences... Oomph.

That's OK, too.  If English isn't your native tongue, you did very well - even with guessing.

    Thanks...

No, it's not "rigged," but it is slanted to favor people who either are actually knowledgeable about certain homonyms (to, too, two), parts of speech, and verb tenses or have been around people who used such tools properly all the time.  (Tenses are all used to indicate action that has taken place in the past, present, and future.)

My first degree is in theoretical physics.  Somebody like me loves "precision of thought and precision of expression," so I gravitate toward painting my statements with a "very fine brush."
