Philosophical point: is an answer in question form truly an answer?

What is the sound of one hand clapping, Grasshopper? 

Or, if you want a more direct answer, "As long as it's properly punctuated."

How would I know?

no, it's a distraction from saying you don't know.

I think often the best answer is another question that leads the asker in the right direction so they can arrive there themselves....the habit of thinking is better than asking.. Just my view

Why wouldn't it be?
