Silver Surfer could possibly be made of mercury and that might not work well with Iron Man's metal; but, it's worth a shot. The living situation could spark a bit of an argument too. Having them both in the same suit at the same time will definitely be cramped.. Unless Iron Man renovated his suit so 2 would fit comfortably. Knowing his character, that is a huge "IF."
