Blah! And that is supposed to be entertaining!
It IS entertaining (for people who dream of getting a award)
Since I have never watched any, I wouldn't know.
I don't know. I don't watch them. There's just something 'not right' about watching circle jerks.
Isn't it stupid? The whole Oscars is just a bunch of half-baked Hollywood politicking at its lowest level. They even have their own brand of lobbyists representing certain producers, directors, etc., who want to get their picture out there and are willing to grease the right wheels to get it done.
Nothing at all to do with what is really great or best. But you do get to see the people and the clothes and see what is "current" in moviedom. But those award shows? They suck.
