DIOGENES of Sinope was a Cynic Philosopher (404-323 BCE). He pointed out the hypocrisy, double standards and decadence of the society at that time. He was known for searching for an HONEST man and all he found were FRAUDS and HYPOCRITES. Fast forward to 2020. How has homo sap changed since then? Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Not at all. Today we have the don and his cabal et al....frauds and hypocrites one and all. Comforting to know man has not advanced morally intellectually spiritually actually? Or very very very sad?
Whom do you know in politics that represents simplicity, critical thinking, mindfulness and has a good or great sense of humor? These qualities are to be admired...all the more because they are so very rare.
SIGH. It an unfortunate circumstance to be aware of what we are and what we are not and obviously never can be.. Ignorance is bliss. Stupidity protects us from the awareness of the vagaries of life. How convenient.
