Of course you don't share others views here and there. But to shoot them down, attack, insult? Is that necessary? What is the point of it?
I say "I saw the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen" and you say "rainbows are ugly and meaningless and why do you care about something so frivolous silly stupid?"
Now the error was in the sharing obviously. Had the sharer just shut the f...up the destroyer would have had no target. Just stifle it and be VERY CAREFUL with whom you share anything. Know what they are and stay silent. Over time you learn whom you can trust with your feelings and whom you can't. Be ever on guard. They are always out there. But here is the saddest part of all... sometimes people will flip on you and become "the other". Why that is I cannot say. Just move on and don't look back. Safer that way.
