    Isn't that the beginning?  I cannot tell from your video because it is unavailable.

    But the root cause of my tape agony has always been what I call the beginning of the tape roll.  


    I see where you are coming from and all.  It starts at the core.  But for me it starts where I begin with it.

    Every time you take a piece from the roll turn the edge under about 1/8 inch and you'll never have that problem again.
