The don orders the transfer of $3.8 BILLION from a military fund to fund his ego wall. Y"all UP WITH THAT? DOWN WITH THAT? OK WITH THAT?

Allegedly apparently obviously the Pentagon rolled over and whimpered and complied.

It SLASHED the funds of 17 navy and air force aircraft programs. Anything for the don. Anything to keep him from EXPLODING IN RAVING RANTING RAGES! Anything he wants to calm him quiet him suppress him. Anything.

    I cannot believe the idiots who serve.

    They back Trump.  

    I would quit before I would ever serve under that pig.    THAT is the scariest thing of all. THEY put up with this.

    It is not entirely clear to me how President Trump can legally do this.

    In 1974, Congress basically ended the President's power to "impound" funds allocated by the legislative branch. How President Trump can transfer funds from where Congress allocated them to his preferred pet projects is beyond me.

    I've read some material which suggests Trump's purported justification is a border wall is "vital to national security" and he has discretion to redirect resources as Commander-in-Chief of the military.

    My guess is the Democratic Party believes Trump's rationale is sufficiently robust legally to survive a court challenge, leaving passing legislation to curb the President's power to divert funds in this fashion (which will never pass the GOP-controlled Senate, much less survive a Trump veto) or impeachment (we all saw how that went) as their only remedies.
