Is it our job to 'defeat ISIS'? If so, Why?
And in particular: Why the assumption that if "We" dont do it, it will not get done.
If the world needs a controlling Police force. I dont think many would want that force to be American at this time.
You can't stamp out a belief system with an army. First we had to stamp out Al Qaeda,now it's ISIS. Hillary Clinton says she'll "beat" ISIS with air power which never worked,anywhere.
We threatened to bomb Viet Nam back to the Stone Age,but we left hanging on to helicopters.
We are fighting radical Islam ,for want of better term,though nobody else in Europe or the Middle East is going to help us.....
We will be at per a perpetual no win war till we realize we are making no friends in this Sisyphean task
