No one lives here permanently (ie. native). However, there are many scientific research stations (from 12 different countries, I believe) staffed with people. There's some kind of treaty stating that no single country can "own" antarctica.
I wonder what life is like in one of those stations Shuhak? It seems so isolated and COLD. I expect those who work there don't work there for very long. I could be wrong. Thank you for your reply and Happy Sunday. What do they DO at those stations? What kind of research goes on there? I just thought of a question! :)
