This is a headline that is shocking to me. Have you heard of it? Is it small tiny itsy bitsy or big and dangerous?

"BOOGALOO civil war talk takes on a life of its own as far-right extremists coalesce".

Apparently allegedly these folks believe a civil war is coming and they are getting prepared for it. They believe Liberals will try to take away all they hold dear and pockets of BOOGALOO's gather together to plan the war.
Alarmist Exaggeration or what is going on sub rosa sotto voce all over the country?

How do we protect ourselves from THEM?

    I don't know what "Boogaloo" means nor how the far-Right is defined and fits in America; but the British and European versions of far-Right groups and individuals are a growing problem.


    They don't seem to be particularly closely organised though, fortunately, nor very uniform in their approaches and aims, although many are anti-immigration, isolationist and racist.

    We have militia groups and skinheads and Nazis and KKK and many of them have guns and rifles and you name stockpiled for when THAT DAY ARRIVES. I don't know how many such groups there are Durdle but this Bugaloo is new to me. There could be MILLIONS of them just waiting for the day dumb don dog whistles them into action. Or it could be a lot of nothing. Thank you for your reply. Do you a bazillion hate groups in your country too? I shall ask. Happy Monday! :)

    Thank you for explaining it.

    We don't have very many hate groups like those in the UK, though there are also individuals who embrace extremist ideologies. Even so they seem to be increasing in number, and are regarded as much a threat as Islamicist fanatics who have launched attacks here.
