It appears that MANY countries 'leaders' are lying to their citizens about the extent and severity of the COVID 19 virus. Comforting?

No one country's "head" has a lock on lying which must make y'all feel real good about how much how often your beloved dumb don lies to us. Misery loves company allegedly. Does it mitigate or exacerbate the misery having/loving company?
