The former Dem prez candidates who just withdrew and endorsed Joe Biden have supporters who will rally around JOE TOO?

Is there any obligation implicit or explicit that would require them to do that? If your candidate withdrew and endorsed someone would you BACK that someone?

    No. They are not obligated.
No, endorsements do not influence who I vote....policies.

Well doesn't it seem logical that a person whose policies you like would endorse someone with the same or similar policies? How far off from Joe are Amy and Pete policywise? They could never endorse bernie. Thank you for your reply m2c.

I know Biden is more moderate than Pete. I am not sure on Amy.

I think Amy is moderate too m2c. It's a crapshoot no matter what we do whom we choose. There is no SURE THING SLAM DUNK as far as I can tell. At lest not for DEMS! I have no idea which candidate will be the dem choice. Why does the dem party dislike bernie if what he alleges is true...they they conspired against him in 2016 and are doing it again in 2020? Is it his policies or personality or something else? It can't be his age since he isn't the only old person running. T'is a puzzlement. Thank you for your reply! :) I am not a fan and never have been because he is always shouting and angry and irascible and accusatory. It tires me just to watch and listen to him. He is NOT calming comforting. He gets me RILED UP and what good is a president who does that? I want one who will address me in a calm intelligent knowledgeable peaceful manner. Not one who is always shouting and pounding and yelling and riling up crowds. SIGH. Not gonna happen for me? OH well. This post was edited by RosieG at March 3, 2020 5:55 AM MST

Because he admits he wants socialism. The party believes that is a loosing position. Some even blame him for Hillary's loss. If Bernie has not made it such a tough primary, if he would have suspended before the convention etc. And he is not a Dem. He is an Independent. And they believe he will hurt the rest of the Dem candidates.
