Schools are a cesspool for bacteria.

It's not simply a coincidence that the flu season start 2-3 weeks after the start of school each year.  While this new virus isn't striking kids as bad as adults, they are still great carriers of disease.  Closing schools might slow the progress of this disease somewhat, it will by no means stop it cold in it tracks.  ANY environment where there a lot of people cooped up in a small space - offices, stores, schools, restaurants, ets. - is a prime environment to spread disease.  This is why many places are making people stay home.  This too can backfire.  Apartment buildings can become cesspools as the air in them is recirculated (just like those cruise ships).  Keeping people inside away from fresh air and sunshine lowers the body's immune system (as well as lack of exercise).

If a child or teacher has the virus, then yes it might be a good precaution to close that school.  But to close them all might prove to be worse.  Those kids have to go somewhere.  They sure won't stay inside for 2-3 weeks (or longer), they sure can't go to work with their parents, their parents can simply stop working to take care of them.  And so the disease spreads.

If YOU were put in charge of trying to slow down the spread of COVID 19 Shuhak how would you go about it? Your reply is very thoughtful and brings up things I did not consider and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in this. Any ideas where you would start NOW? The time to have jumped on it was a couple of months ago when dumb don was in the throes of saying it was all a dem hoax to take him down. Can you think of a way to muzzle dumb don since every time he opens his mouth he exacerbates the situation? Thank you for your reply Shuhak! :)

I honestly have no clue as to what I'd do.  I know I wont panic myself over it (panic is stress and as I've told you earlier, stress has a very negative impact on me).
yes, he should have been on it from day 1.  One doesn't wait until after the house has burned down to install smoke detectors.  Unfortunately he thinks everything is about him.  Everything he says and does is only to show off/strut.  That's why he lies so much.  Unless someone locks him in an airtight thick-walled lead chamber and tosses away the key, muzzling him is impossible.
