    I didn't know they were. Cancer victims undergoing chemo are compromised.

    When I was undergoing chemo in 2008 I wasn't allowed to change the cat litter. So there were precautions being taken during those months (March-October but who remembers?) but I just wonder if such experiences weakens the immune system foreverly or only temporarily?     I had friends who remitted from cancer that showed no signs of compromised immunity, nor were they warned of it.

    How old? I'm 82 in the VERY HIGH RISK group. Jim is 84..more so. Thank you for your reply! We went to the market today and both wore those throwaway blue gloves. We were shocked at how DIRTY they got just from handling packages of food. Oh well. If our number if up it's up. :)
