Was truth ever fashionable? Was there a time and place once upon a time when truth reigned supreme and everyone admired it and tried to live up to it? Or is that just another lie?

There have been such periods, But throughout there have been people who lied and cheated anyway. Sometimes for "The Cause", Sometimes for money, Sometimes for personal power over others. etc.

It seems it was more in the past than it is now which I hope isn't the case'
