$50 billion bailout to airline industry...$150 billion bailout to travel industry. Why not? What could it hurt?

Lobbyists will do their dirty work to bribe/extort legislators to give GIVE them first dibs on welfare handouts/bailouts. What else is new? Money buys access to billions of dollars. Grease the palms and you're in business.

Nothing ever changes.

I heard this morning that the "service industry" (restaurants and hotels) are wanting money.  Can't remember how much.

I think most of the money should go directly to the workers, unless the industry is keeping people on the payroll during this time.

I think the money as usual is going to the power structure in every industry. Doesn't it always? That huge tax cut wasn't trickled down to employees. 90% of it was used for stock buyback. The SOB's will keep all the dough. Who is gonna stop 'em? The HOAX is one of them. SIGH. Thank you for your reply Walt! :)

I think the GAO should examine their books, before they get any money.
You KNOW they are going to be using their normal costs ... but they won't have nearly as much fuel cost, because they aren't flying.
And their maintenance costs will be lower ... again, because they aren't flying.
And we shouldn't be paying their profit margin.

You know what I think? I think they should hire you to do just that. SERIOUSLY Walt. Excellent what you came up with m'dear and I TRUST YOU but I sure as he** don't trust whomever the HOAX would put in that job assuming he'd want any oversight at all! Thank you for your reply! SIGH. :)
