He invoked the Defense Production Act several days ago but so far has done nothing about it. That is where companies convert production lines to things needed to fight a war. When asked why he has not actually ordered it to begin he said those awesome caring words.
He said he invoked it in case it is needed in a worst case scenario. He said he hopes we won't need it.
