Are you modest/humble? Know others who are? They seem to be disappearing rapidly. Were they of any value?

If I were to say that I was, that would invalidate my being such. (humble people do not go around proclaiming they are humble).

Even so, I try to be humble/modest.

The proud and arrogant always look like they're "taking over", as those who are truly humble don't go around blowing their own horns.  Those who are humble tend to stay in the background, not preferring public attention.  It doesn't mean they are weak, just that they are wise enough to know what really matters. You don't go around saying it Shuhak. YOU LIVE IT. I asked a direct question. Your answering it honestly is the point. You know if you are full of yourself or if you aren't don't you? Why would you hesitate to say so when asked? Perhaps it is a simple matter of semantics. Thank you for your thoughtful reply Shuhak.

Yes!  How one lives far outweighs anything they claim.

That depends on whom you know. If you're focused on Trump and others in the public eye (and we know he's never far below the surface of any of your questions, even if you don't mention his name right away), bear in mind that such folks who seek power and influence are not, by nature, humble and/or modest. However, if you look at those in more private and caring walks of life, such as nursing and the clergy, you can find hordes of humble and modest people.
