Massive indifference is the binder that bonds them together with one another. Indifference is that which allows them to defend him no matter what he does/says. They make no choices at all. It is a robotic automatic visceral anti-intellectual emotional response.
Those of you who can't imagine a human being being INDIFFERENT to the suffering of others will never understand them.
