On 4th of July we'd have sparklers we were allowed to set off which made the neighborhoods look like they were filled with fireflies. There would be gathering at park for larger fireworks and the skies would light up and you could see it from your backyards. There used to be potlucks and block parties.
Does any of that exist any more or is life too fraught with danger?
Forget about our immediate now and COVID 19. Before that now how was life for your children? Safe simple fun? How do we get back to that or is it gone forever? I've read that rotten evil creeps put razor blades in apples. I hope that is apocryphal and never really happened. But there is much hate and dipstick wackadoodle crackpot weirdo peculiars who roam freely and harm without conscience. Why do people get off on inflicting harm to others? How many wackadoodle crackpot nut jobs are there among us who get off on destruction?
