Are Millenials the "upgrade" generation?

Always new. Always update. Nothing old. Nothing.

Probably more so than prior generations.  That is also from things changing so quickly that "old" things to them are obsolete.

  • Yes, to some extent. When it comes to tech, I always want the latest and greatest. At the same time, I enjoy many old things, like vintage turntables :)

  • Someday you'll be "vintage" and Generation Y will have no mercy on you.

  • Oh yeah. That's what I meant to say. I think Gen Y are Millenials. Who cares? I'm sure they'll be by to correct me anytime now.

  • Your generation may reboot several times during this process.  Please be patient.

It seems to be this way. My husband and I have kids that are "Millennials".  I notice they seem to have cars and gadgets that are never "old", but they are also not buying houses and getting married.

  • I think they're just not used to having to make do with "old" things .. since they need to have everything "new" all the time.  They're not used to making due with what you have until you need or actually can afford them.  Life is like a constantly revolving door to them.  No wonder they just don't stay at jobs or in relationships for long either.
