I believe Buddhists remain detached and accept without judgment. Yin and Yang. Go with the flow.

When you care so much about an outcome that you lie cheat steal sabotage or murder to achieve it then I think you are worthless useless dangerous.
Caring about outcomes seems natural to me. Endings can made you sad or happy depending. Does the hero die or survive? Do the true loves find each other and stay together? Who wouldn't prefer a happy ending over one that is very sad dark despairing?
