This is 2020. Da big cheese started his reign of terror in January 2017. How did the author of something written in 1942 describe da big cheese so perfectly? It was eerie. That last 15-20 minutes brought all the truth that the "hero" was to light. The bill of goods he sold the people to get them to adore him and what he really had planned. FASCISM would rule the land. The "hero" widow (he had died in an auto accident) finally tells the truth. The whole truth and nothing but the truth. The writer (Spencer Tracy) writes all about who "the hero" really was and planned to do and the contempt with which he viewed "the people" who adored him. No more adoring.
