Who writes the scripts for political surrogates? They all sound alike when defending their pols. Why the dull repetition of sameoldsameold?

 All Republican surrogates are rigidly inflexible. All Democratic surrogates are equally rigidly inflexible. They do  NOT show an ounce of independent thought or originality. They parrot the same words with the same tempo(FAST) and intonation (LOUD). Repeatedly. Can't the campaigns afford more creativity? Why do they settle for average/ordinary/typical/predictable/tedious/monotonic?

    In short, Hegelian Dialectic. They speak only in the language their supporters are conditioned to accept, the same language opposing political groups have been conditioned to despise. Thesis, antithesis, synthesis.

    By omitting the discussion of core principles in debate, there is no real debate. Every debate is predicated on a handful of predetermined assumptions to which only they subscribe. Anything outside of that narrative is by default deemed "fringe" or "extreme." What's worse is the public actually believes them and almost never challenge such fallacies.

    One great example would be job creation. They never discuss the efficacy of govt. policy as it relates to job creation, they only ever fight over whose policy is better. But what if govt. policy as a whole is the problem, would it really matter which policy was better? Of course not.

    This is how all debates are controlled and all skeptics are silenced.
