Is every endeavor in life a competition? Some always set things up that way and they always have to WIN. Is being disagreed with LOSING?

If folks disagree with you does that mean you lose and they win? On what level is that because it seems ridiculous absurd and childish. What about you? Does it seems ridiculous absurd and childish to demand agreement and attack those who don't agree? Just pondering wondering opining.
