The makers and enforcers of rules never enforce them fairly. It all depends upon the rulebreaker. FRIEND/FOE is all that counts. Guess what?

Friends get away with murder. Foes don't get away with a dam*ed thing. Isn't that always the way? It's human nature to favor friends and human nature to be strict rigid immutable when it comes to not friends.

Haven't you gotten away with stuff because your FRIEND let it slide? Haven't you let friends get away with stuff because YOU LET IT SLIDE?

I rest my case.

The rules may be there for everyone. But they only matter if they are ENFORCED equally and fairly no matter who breaks them and friends don't enforce anything on their friends. The way of the world. No one promised you a rose garden. Life is not fair.
GET OVER IT!

  • It matters not whether an enforcer is a good or bad entity in the scheme of things, the reality is, that those who enforce are the winners in any conflict, competition or contest. They are the ones who unfortunately write the history of events. Chapter by chapter, verse by verse. Favoritism quickly becomes a moot point. As you say, life ain't fair. In fact, life is indeed a four letter word. But most of us had that much figured out long ago.
