The invading "army" comes in to take over and destroy all that was there before to reshape it completely. The "army" can be many or one. It matters not. What matters is
Do the citizens embrace and accept or do they FIGHT?
The new order rules with an iron fist. There is no independence allowed. There is no disagreement allowed. Some countries murder the citizens who fight against its rule. Mow them down with tanks or firing squads to quiet them subdue them.
What is a PATRIOT? A malleable squishy shapeless entity or a fixed solid immutable force?
Invaders silence patriots. Stifle them subdue them eradicate them imprison them. invaders will not tolerate a patriot.
Which do you admire more? The PATRIOT who is willing to die to keep his/her country intact or the collaborator quisling who is willing to die and fight to the death to support the goals of the invader to satisfy the invader to obey the invader to give absolute homage and loyalty to the invader? Why?
