They would have parsed all words, refused to work together refused to compromise refused to cooperate refused to do anything until they all agreed on a PERFECT document. They went ahead and did the best they could and subsequently THE CONSTITUTION was amended to work toward achieving a MORE PERFECT UNION.
With the dunderhead deadheads in politics today who can't agree on anything we'd still be without a country had they been "there" then.
Too bad what came after has been such a disaster. Too bad the good intentions of people who worked very hard to provide our foundations has been corrupted eviscerated ground down and fed to pigs. OINK OINK.
