If you are aware of evil and do nothing you are not a good anything. You are not a good man or a good woman or a good human being.
Silence signifies agreement. Silence signifies acceptance. Silence is what cowards envlope themselves in. Silence is not golden.
Knowing when to speak and when to remain silent is golden. But if you don't speak because bad is happening and you don't want to call attention to yourself then that silence is not golden at all.
I wonder how many cowards remained silent in the face of evil and if they could sleep at night?
