I don't get it. You'd think the last way an African American would choose to take his own life would be hanging from a tree. Why choose it?

A final testament to the world? What would that say to YOU?

There have recently been a few found that way and after investigation at least two were ruled suicide. I think they are still investigating the others.

I cannot fathom taking my own life to begin with. But if I were in that state of depression choosing that way if I were a black man? Maybe you can understand it. I can't.
