When you have something to say to someone that could be difficult for them to hear do you feel better/worse for having told them? Why?

    I never feel good about having to tell someone something potentially painful.  Of course I know there are times I must do it, especially being a parent.

     I just experienced that yesterday. I feel better for having said it but worse for possibly hurting someone. I don't know how it was received since it was via email and I haven't received a response so far. Thank you for your reply PeaPod and Happy Wednesday! :)
