I understand why people fear the not thems. You don't know what they might do to harm you. But why do people hate those they don't know?

They hate at sight due to packaging.

Maybe the packaging isn't their cuppa tea but to HATE it? I don't get it.

I'm not a fan of of those who wear  lots of jewelry lots of makeup lots of perfume . They are not my cuppa tea but I do not hate them. Do you hate people on sight whom you don't know at all? Can you tell me why?
