The drastic change in character of lindsay graham after John McCain's death caused me to wonder. How does the death of loved ones change us?

The loss has to have some impact on us.

I think of our son David who passed away May 2019. He was such a good dear loving honorable honest man. So when I think of him which is all the time I try to do better. I know I can do better than I do and so why don't I try to all the time? I don't know. Just human I guess.

So what's my point?

I think loss changes us in a way to make us want to do better and be better because having those people in our lives and knowing did in fact make us better people. So to honor them we keep trying.

Why would some people go the other direction? How does that honor the memory of your loved one? Being a liar and supporter of evildoing? How can that possibly be making you better?

So I wonder and I ponder what your experience has been vis a vis loss. I've not come to any conclusions. I'm in the very early stages of even thinking about it.
