Because he ignores it and expects everyone else to ignore it and certainly NOT LEAK INFO THAT MAKES HIM LOOK BAD.
Then a couple days later TWO MORE of that advance team were diagnosed with it.
So he can't stand news that makes him look bad. Why tell him? Why subject yourself to being vilified excoriated attacked insulted demeaned denigrated derogated stomped on verbally by an outrage out of control crackpot wackadoodlenoodle? So you don't.
