You really want to be a candidate for a particular position. More than anything. How far will you go to curry favor with others?

I don't mean lie exactly or necessarily. But the folks you don't really like you are going to have to pretend you do because you will need them to vote for you. Can you sublimate you in order to get others to support you or is that a lost cause?
