If you have a "pure heart" can you be more easily manipulated than if you have a heart that is evil?

I think Ronnie Reagan probably had a pretty good heart but Nancy had him wrapped around her finger.

The trump has a very evil heart but look how easily putin manipulates him?

I guess whether innocent/pure or black hearted devil anyone at any time can be manipulated. By someone much smarter much stronger much better at it.
