He would have been an albatross around anyone's neck who had the great misfortune to serve with him.
Even if he were 1A he would have deserted fled chickened out run away. Or he would have shot his fellow soldiers since he clearly has no problem with Putin having bountied the heads of American soldiers in Afghanistan. What's it to him? Nuttin' hunny. Nuttin' at all.
So it all worked out okay for him. Instead of a military disgrace/traitor he become president! Only in America.
