"The risk of COVID 19 is outweighed by the risk to children's emotional development". Really? Even when child dies? Peculiarly queerly odd?

By all means make sure the child's emotional development survives and when the child dies you say what? We tried?

Never heard of anything that illogical.

LIFE is a necessary requirement for anything else to be relevant

Dead requires nothing at all.

It does not require a genius to figger that out. Any ordinary sap should understand that.

Luckily children are far less likely than adults, especially older adults, to be killed by Covid-19; but the risk is really that of them helping to spread the disease.

I agree. The little darlings bring it home to family including us old folks. How do you social distance in schools? What kids will wear masks while away from home? When they eat they have to remove the masks. It's airborne so when they laugh or cough or sneeze the virus is in the air and others just breathe it in. Aye yi yi! Thank you for your reply Durdle! :)

Kids are killing themselves because of lack of social interaction.

They are not superspreaders.  They do not get the virus. Why? I do not know.

The few who have gotten it ...got it FROM their parents.
