Talking about a problem is often how you solve it. Brainstorming. Using one another as "sounding boards". Some advocate ignoring them. Why?

While it is true that some "problems" do solve themselves and if you do nothing at all nothing bad happens.

But how do you KNOW which is which at the front end of it?

How do you know when opening your mouth to discuss it helps solve it and when opening your mouth makes things worse because some folks DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT so they go off on you?
