Everyone says Pence overshadowed Trump and did a great a job during his debate. He refused to defend Trump. He floated!. Who gloated?

How long is Pence going to be allowed to be Pence and survive the Donald's wrath? He who will not be overshadowed or outdone and made out to be completely inept in Debate #1 cannot be happy about the Pence performance. Will  Pence roll over and be a good boy or will he continue following his own scenario so that he will be the 2020 GOP prez nominee? To whom is Pence most loyal...himself or the Donald?

Himself.   BIG EGO.  Trump secretly wants to be Pence and have his cred, anomalies and all.  The whole package.   Trump is a Pence poser.  And Pence is an ass.  But he is an ass that has a distinct hand to play that Donald is not privy to.   Pence knows how to address problems and make it sound like a person with a brain is speaking even though the person has very little to offer in the way of a good argument.   He can dazzle by just being poised, thoughtful and focused.  Everything that The Donald is NOT.

So, Donald has crap to say and does a very crappy job of expressing himself.

Pence has crap to say, but tries to sound reasonable and rational while shoving the ooze down the throats of his admirerers.

Trumppence: A diminutive amount of British money.  Pence is a penny.  Even the British frowns on these two hopefuls.  Neither (Politically or monetarily) is worth much here or abroad.

IMO, as  is being floated about, Pence (in the VP debate) auditioned for a 2020 POTUS run.  EDITED: it is just an urban dictionary word.   I should have made that known before posting.     Brought to my attention in a later muggers post. • I think that's 'tuppence'.  :)

It was used as a term for 'two old pence', a sum of money that equates to about 4/5ths of a modern 1p piece.  It's use has declined since decimalisation in the early '70s, but it can still be seen from time to time applied to modern currency.

    So yes, very diminutive.

On a happier note, it was also used for a time as a childish term for a vagina.

I should have noted "Urban Dictionary".  It is not really a word. This post was edited by Beans/SilentGeneration at October 6, 2016 3:16 PM MDT

Beans as you know I  make up my own words all the time and they never appear in any dictionary urban or otherwise. I think language  should be fun. Lively. Interesting. I think your answer certainly fulfilled all 3 of those. :)
