Pelsoi has a Dem challenger in the general election this Nov. first time in 30yrs. Should Pelosi be worried?

He is very liberal. More in line with AOC.  His name is  Shahid Buttar.

  • I honestly wish I could say that having a general election opponent presented a problem for the Wicked Witch of the West, but it doesn't. Those "constituents" of hers have been mesmerized by her smoke and mirror games for so long, it's utterly pathetic. It really appears that those people have a choice between the devil and the deep blue sea. Makes me thankful everyday that I don't live on the Left Coast.

    I don't see how a Democrat can be challenged by a fellow Dem in the general election. Perhaps it's in the Democratic primary?

    CA is so left that in a primary the top 2 vote tallies go to the general regardless of party. This guy got the 2nd highest number of votes with Pelosi getting 1st.  Any Republican running would have had less than him. So they often have two Dems on the general election ballot.

    Another thing weird about CA. I do not know of any other state who does this.

    I had not seen results of the primary.  If it was that large, she is prob in no danger. Unless Anti-Pelosi voters unite and make a point to vote.

    Pelosi is Speaker of the House of Representatives. She is next in line to President after VP.
